"Fleetee" is a trademark owned by ZOTCAR. The purpose of this policy is to inform you of the rules we apply in terms of data protection. In particular, it describes how we collect and process your personal data and how you can exercise your rights with regard to this data. We apply a strict policy to guarantee the protection of your Data; thus:
ZOTCAR (Fleetee) places particular importance on the protection and confidentiality of the personal data of visitors and users (the “Users”) of the website www.fleetee.io (the “Site”), including its mobile version and its iOS and Android applications. This policy is intended to inform Site Users about how ZOTCAR (Fleetee), as the data controller, collects, uses, and protects any personal information provided by Users while browsing the Site, particularly when registering on the Site, creating an account, subscribing to the newsletter, and/or using the services offered by ZOTCAR (Fleetee) on the Site (the “Services”). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand how ZOTCAR (Fleetee) uses and processes your data. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, we ask that you cease browsing and/or using the Site and the Services. ZOTCAR (Fleetee) reserves the right to modify and update this Privacy Policy at any time, in particular to comply with any legislative, regulatory, or technological changes. Any use of the Site or the Services after the date this policy is updated will constitute acceptance of the changes.

In this capacity, ZOTCAR (Fleetee) undertakes to comply with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, which entered into force on May 25, 2018 (GDPR), Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, on Information Technology, Data Files, and Civil Liberties, as amended by Law No. 2004-801 of August 6, 2004, as well as any applicable regulations that may replace them (the “Applicable Regulations”). All data concerning Users is collected directly from them. In connection with a User’s use of the Site and/or the Services, ZOTCAR (Fleetee) may collect and process the following data (this list is not exhaustive):

ZOTCAR (Fleetee) also collects and processes data relating to Users through their visits to the Site or during calls or emails to Customer Service, including the following information: availability periods, vehicle rental periods, number of vehicle reservations, number of vehicles used, total price paid per rental, number of vehicles involved in accidents (if any), departure and arrival points, and the duration and authorized distance of trips, connection and browsing data on the Site, and history of communications between Users.
Finally, ZOTCAR (Fleetee) collects data provided by Users through their participation in contests on the Site or ZOTCAR (Fleetee) satisfaction surveys, as well as comments submitted by Users regarding ZOTCAR (Fleetee) Services.
Banking information is collected and processed by our partner payment service providers.
Personal data is collected and processed by ZOTCAR (Fleetee) to enable Users to benefit from the Services offered by Fleetee on the Site, and in particular to:
5. Recording and Transcription of Conversations
As part of its customer relationship management, ZOTCAR (Fleetee) may record telephone conversations with Users and prepare a written transcript of them.
Purpose. The purpose of these recordings and transcripts is to document follow-up meetings, ensure the traceability of communications, and improve the quality of customer service. They are not used for any marketing purposes.
Legal basis. ZOTCAR’s (Fleetee) legitimate interest in documenting and monitoring the customer relationship.
Information and Opt-Out. The User is informed of the recording at the beginning of each call and may opt out at any time, including during the call; in such cases, the conversation will be documented solely through note-taking. Opting out has no impact on the quality of the Service provided.
Automated processing. Transcription may use speech recognition and text-to-speech tools powered by artificial intelligence. These processes do not result in any automated decisions that have legal effects on the User.
Recipients. Recordings and transcripts are accessible only to authorized ZOTCAR (Fleetee) employees. They are hosted and processed by third-party service providers (telephony and transcription services) with whom ZOTCAR (Fleetee) has entered into an agreement in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR.
6. Tracking pixels in our emails
In connection with the sending of newsletters and informational emails referred to in Article 4, ZOTCAR (Fleetee) may include a tracking pixel in its emails to determine whether the message has been opened by the User.
Without the User’s prior consent, this information is used only to verify the proper deliverability of emails and to remove inactive Users from mailing lists. With the User’s prior consent, obtained when their email address is collected, this information may also be used to measure the performance of ZOTCAR (Fleetee) campaigns and to personalize the content or frequency of communications sent to them.
The User may withdraw their consent at any time, using a method as simple as the one used to give it, by clicking on the corresponding link at the bottom of each email or by sending a request to contact@fleetee.io.
ZOTCAR (Fleetee) is committed to obtaining Users’ prior consent before collecting and processing their data, except when such processing is necessary for the performance of a contract between ZOTCAR (Fleetee) and the User (for example, to provide the Service or enable navigation on the Site), to comply with a legal obligation imposed on ZOTCAR (Fleetee), or to pursue its legitimate interests (for example, ensuring the security of the Site, ensuring the safety of our staff, receiving payments, etc.). Please note that ZOTCAR (Fleetee) requires certain data in order to provide the Services. If the User refuses to provide certain required data, or requests that ZOTCAR (Fleetee) delete it, ZOTCAR (Fleetee) informs the User that they may no longer be able to use the Services.
The data collected is intended for ZOTCAR (Fleetee). It may be shared with subcontractors that ZOTCAR (Fleetee) engages in connection with the provision of the Services. ZOTCAR (Fleetee) may also be required to disclose Users’ personal data to legally authorized bodies and authorities, to the extent that such disclosure is required or permitted by law. ZOTCAR (Fleetee) undertakes not to share Users’ personal data with its partners for marketing purposes—including via email, mail, or telephone—without first obtaining each User’s consent. Furthermore, even after giving consent, each User may opt out of receiving such communications by sending an email to contact@fleetee.io.
Users' personal data will be retained only for as long as is strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it is processed. In any event, the retention period will not exceed the period during which the User's account remains active.
ZOTCAR (Fleetee) takes all necessary security measures and precautions—both technical and organizational—to protect Users’ personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, distortion, disclosure, or unauthorized access by third parties (for example, controlling physical access to the premises, access rights management, storage in dedicated areas, etc.).
When creating an account, the User selects an email address and a password, which will be required each time the User wishes to access the account. Personal data is thus protected by a password so that only the User can access it. ZOTCAR (Fleetee) recommends that Users not disclose this information to anyone.
Users should also remember to log out of their account and close their browser window at the end of their session, especially if they are using a computer shared with others to access the Internet.
The User is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his or her password. The User bears sole responsibility for any consequences that may result from use by third parties who have gained knowledge of the password. If the User forgets their password, the Site provides a feature that allows them to have their password sent to their email address. Similarly, if the User fears that a third party may have gained access to their password, they may request to set a new password by clicking “Forgot Password” on the login form.
In principle, the Site is intended for adults who are legally capable of entering into contracts in accordance with the laws of the country in which the User is located. ZOTCAR (Fleetee) reminds users that, in any case, the collection of personal data regarding minors under the age of 16 requires parental consent.
ZOTCAR (Fleetee) maintains a history of Users’ logins to the Site and may track Users’ browsing activity on the Site using cookies. When a User uses the Site, ZOTCAR (Fleetee) collects and analyzes the following data: IP address, browser types, browser language, operating system, location of connection, number of clicks, downloaded files, search terms used on the Site, dates and times of connection, and other similar data. Accordingly, by accessing and browsing the Site, the User agrees to ZOTCAR (Fleetee)’s use of cookies or any other comparable or similar technology that enables the tracking of Users’ browsing activity. The retention period for information regarding the User’s browsing activity collected via cookies on the Site shall not exceed one year. Please note that the User may prevent cookies from being stored on their hard drive by configuring their web browser settings. However, by doing so, the User will lose the ability to personalize the Service provided by ZOTCAR (Fleetee) on the Site. Furthermore, the User has the right to access, correct, and delete information concerning him or her, as indicated in Article 10 above.
